About Our Workshops
Hammond Mediation & Consulting Group Inc. offers unique, tailor made workshops to organizations and groups.  Requests for services are often responded to with a brief consultation to absolutely determine needs and desired outcomes.  Hammond also provides ‘Train the Trainer’ services.

Workshop timeframes may vary depending on participant needs and skill levels. Timeframes shown reflect averages - materials, resources and activities are available to facilitators to increase or decrease workshop lengths as necessary. We have the ability to provide brief presentations on these topics as well (example- for conference sessions).

All workshops are delivered using adult education principles. Courses are facilitated using a combination of: ice-breaker activities; written materials/resources; experiential exercises; role play activities; independent research/exploration; presentations (small group & individual); one-to-one support; group discussion/input/support; and evaluation. Where applicable, presentations from guest speakers and off-site tours are utilized to cover topic area. Modules include, but are not limited to, the following:

· She has facilitated sessions at various national and annual conferences
· Her innovative approach to adult learning offers participants a rich learning environment

Workshop and Educational Program Topics

 

 

The timeframes for workshops and educational programs vary depending the participant needs,

skill levels and degree of practical application opportunities.  The timeframes listed below simply

provide the average or typically requested timeframe for each specific topic.  Each session is easily

modifiable to meet specific learner needs.  There are also “overview sessions” which are short

sessions that provide an overview of key learnings for each session (presentation style vs.

workshop approach).

 

All workshops are delivered utilizing adult education principles and include a variety and combination

of instructional approaches including:  ice breaker exercises, printed course materials and handouts,

innovative and stimulating PowerPoint presentation, experiential exercises, role plays, 1:1 support

and coaching, group discussions (small and large group), case studies, independent research and

exploration exercises, and self assessments.  Each course or session is built upon a solid framework

of specific learning objectives.  Where applicable, courses may have practical assessments, quizzes,

exams, panel discussions and guest speakers.  Modules include but are not limited to:

·             Classroom conflict management (1/2 day, 1 day or 2 days)
